  The Portuguese superstar endured a disappointing end to his domestic campaign at Al-Nassr, with the 39-year-old left in tears after suffering a penalty shootout defeat to Al-Hilal in the Kings Cup of Champions final – meaning that he finished the season without major silverware.

  He is, however, about to turn his attention to the pursuit of more international honours. Having helped Portugal to European Championship glory in 2016, the evergreen frontman is ready to chase down that trophy once more.
