McClean and Mullin have since deleted their posts appearing to target King Charles III, who is currently fighting a battle with cancer. The Wrexham duo also attended the Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez fight against Jaime Munguia at the T-Mobile Arena over the weekend amid an alcohol-fuelled trip to the United States.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Mullin shared a photo of a pair of football boots with the words 'F*** the Tories' written on the side, which he was not allowed to wear by the club, and has also admitted in the past he has "no interest" in the royal family. McClean, meanwhile, has long been targeted for his refusal to wear a poppy on remembrance Sunday and refused to apologise for singing along to a Wrexham chant about him 'hating the King' after their promotion to League One was confirmed.
